Yarn Along 7/18/2012

Joining Ginny for Yarn Along
~ Two of my favorite things are knitting and reading, and the evidence of this often shows up in my photographs. I love seeing what other people are knitting and reading as well. So, what are you knitting or crocheting right now? What are you reading? Take a photo and share it either on your blog or on Flickr. Leave a link below to share your photo with the rest of us! ~

Hello All. Thanks for visiting. Nothing exciting or new this week, which for me, is comforting. Still knitting on my Hyla. Tinking back occasionally. I am reading the same book- True Sisters by Sandra Dallas . I believe I am finding solace with my needles and wool. Nothing earth shattering(thankfully everyone is health) just a dark period full of worry and misunderstandings and heartache. This, too, shall pass.

  7. "This too shall pass" has been my life saver these last couple of days. It will indeed pass and hopefully we learn something when we get to the other side of it. Hugs to you!

  10. Knitting does help. Sorry to hear about your worrying time. I have to remind myself when I enter into my anxious/worried state (which unfortunately is a constant struggle) that God is trustworthy and good and desires to mold me into the person that He wants, teaching me patience and enduring trials. Of course, I don't like those trials, but...

Your shawl looks wonderful! And yay for a better week!
